According to Indian media reports, the severe heat wave continues in India, the Indian states of New Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, UP, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Orissa, and Jharkhand are in the grip of heat wave.

According to Indian media, the death toll from heat stroke has increased to 74 in 48 hours, 25 election staff members are also among those who died from heat stroke.
